The original nighttime run-and-gun biathlon.

The Twilight Biathlon is a timed 5K run-and-shoot competition held at night on unlit terrain at The Burial Mound Shooting Center in Pawnee, Oklahoma. Competitors run a two-lap course through Oklahoma fields and woods, engaging four live-fire shooting stages along the route.

Four divisions cover the field: 2Gun and PCC run Saturday night on white light, while NV 2Gun and NV PCC run Friday night on night vision.

Scoring is time-based. Your final score is the combined total of your four shooting stage times plus your course run time. Lowest score wins.

Running since 2018

Twilight Biathlon has run twice a year — spring and fall — since 2018. The format, the NV/WL split, and the 3-5 minute individual release schedule are the original template for this type of event.
